Tuesday, October 15, 2024 | 6:00 PM --- Dr. Jordan Lim MB BCh BAO, FAAD, AACMS (she/her/hers) Dual Board Certified Dermatologist and Mohs Micrographic Surgeon Director of Mohs Surgery, Atlanta Veterans Affairs Hospital Associate Program Director, Emory Dermatology Residency Program Assistant Professor of Dermatology, Department of Dermatology, Emory University Jordan Lim MB BCh BAO is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Emory University, holds the position of Director of Mohs Surgery at The Atlanta VA Medical Center, and is an Associate Program Director of the Emory Dermatology Residency Program. Born and raised in Northern Canada, she earned her medical degree immediately after her secondary education at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Dr. Lim then completed her dermatology residency at Penn State University, serving as Chief resident in her final year. She then pursued a Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship at Emory University, solidifying her expertise in advanced dermatologic procedures. Dr. Lim's commitment extends beyond clinical practice; she is deeply dedicated to medical education and mentorship, evidenced by her research efforts and prestigious teacher of the year accolades. Dr. Lim is actively engaged in reviewing for major dermatologic journals, serves as a contributor to the DermSurgery Digest podcast, and plays an active role on committees for the AAD. This year, she was chosen by the American College of Mohs Surgeons as one of eight junior surgeons to participate in the Mohs Surgeons Leading the Future intensive leadership program. Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Lim finds joy in personal interests, including culinary exploration, travel, and maintaining an active lifestyle through activities such as Peloton and Pilates.
